Graduates in master’s degree courses in dentistry and dental prostheses carry out activities related to the prevention, diagnosis and therapy of congenital and acquired diseases and anomalies of the teeth, mouth, jaw bones, temporomandibular joints and related tissues, as well as dental rehabilitation, prescribing all the medications and the aids necessary for the exercise of the profession.
Graduates in the class have a level of professional, cultural, decision-making and operational autonomy such as to allow them constant updating, having followed a training course characterized by a holistic approach to oral health problems of the healthy or sick person, also in relation to physical and social environment that surrounds it.
For these purposes, the master’s degree program provides for a total of 360 (three hundred and sixty) CFUs over 6 (six) years of course, of which at least 90 (ninety) to be acquired in professional clinical training activities to be carried out in an integrated manner with the other training activities at university care facilities.
The vocational training activity is compulsory and necessary for the achievement of the master’s degree and is planned by the didactic regulations within the overall duration of the course of study.
