Low tube

The course is based on the achievement of the following qualifying training objectives:

• knowledge of the highly complex solo repertoire for Basso Tuba;
• the knowledge of the chamber repertoire which includes the presence of the Basso Tuba in the staff;
• the knowledge of the main passages and of the orchestral solos for Basso Tuba;
• knowledge of the twentieth century and contemporary repertoire for bass tuba;
• knowledge of the main ancient playing practices for wind instruments;
• the ability to carry out elaborations, reductions or transcriptions within their own repertoire.
