Bassoon

The course is based on the achievement of the following qualifying training objectives:

• knowledge of the highly complex solo repertoire for bassoon;
• knowledge of the chamber repertoire which includes the presence of the Bassoon in the staff;
• knowledge of the main passages and orchestral solos for Bassoon;
• knowledge of the twentieth century and contemporary Bassoon repertoire;
• knowledge of the main ancient playing practices for wind instruments;
• the ability to carry out elaborations, reductions or transcriptions within their own repertoire.
