Polytechnic University of Bari

The Polytechnic University of Bari was established with Law 245 of 7 August 1990. It is the youngest of the three Italian Polytechnics and the only one in Southern Italy.

Today it is a university with high levels of employment of graduates, excellent results in research and a growing interest from companies, for its recognized capacity for technological innovation.

Polytechnic University of Bari is a constantly growing research and development center, managed in collaboration with small and medium-sized enterprises and large industrial companies, to help the area grow, provide continuous education updates and encourage the employment of young people.

In the 2022 edition of the World University ranking, one of the most prestigious international rankings in the sector, the Apulian university is placed in the range from 701 to 750th place out of 1,300 universities in the “High Level Universities” category. Among the Italian universities, the Polytechnic of Bari is the second in the South.
